Stop List Editor

For laying out the keywords from your HTML files the use of a stop word list is meaningful. With the help of a small editor you can produce this stop word list.

For some countries you can import stop word lists.

Working with the Stop List Editor

Then you enter the desired word in the field above on the left and press ENTER so that you save a change to the mouse.

An examination whether the stop word is already existing in the list is carried out.

To delete keywords from the list please go following steps:

  1. Mark some entries with the mouse.
  2. Click on the button with the sign "<".
  3. Confirm the query for every stop word.

 

Note

Stop words with a length of 1 character cannot be entered since keywords make sense only as of a length of 2 letters.

If you plan to generate an index from multilingual HTML sides, please create a list that includes all stop words in the different languages.
