Welcome to KIT's online help! KIT - Keyword Index Tool - is a little tool with which you be able creating index files for the Microsoft HTMLHelp 1.x, Help 2.x format or for a web-based help (generated with FAR). The index to a help system has to be made most manually. This program helps you to accelerate this process. Keywords are selected from the <head> section of the HTML files. The contents in the HTML <title> tag is taken to single words and arranged into a list for an index. World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standard noted keywords in HTML <meta> tag are optionally written to this index list. Version 0.8.4 |
